Neptune is Bound
Neptune is Bound (first published on Turquoise Monster)
Neptune is bound in with shame
In a water cave so dank
Walls shimmer green
efferesance of the sea
But it is not the sea
Not the salt brine his tail fin craves
In osterization
A prison of his own making
The Sea Queens wraith
Imprisions the adultera
Excummunicating him
From his own realm

Your sketches are ohllrworedty, I like that. This one is my favorite I think. Not because of the song & lyrics. I don’t know it but I’ll look it up next.No I love this one for 2 reasons. First, I loved singing underwater as a kid. Second, this image truly expresses that feeling (of singing underwater). And that feeling is indescribable. Maybe I’ll have to write a short story, flash fiction. Anyway, thanks for reminding me of my days as a mermaid.Hang in there, you’re getting there! (Wherever there’ is.)
